FC LUCERNE FRAUEN – SERVETTE FCCF: PLACE IN THE 2ND ROUND

After a splendid victory for Zurich, the Garnets travel to Lucerne before the international break.

After 9 consecutive matches without defeat, and therefore a complete round of the championship, the Servettians returned to 1st place in the ranking after beating FC Zurich in their home last weekend. A first part of the season which shows all the work put in by the players and staff. If this first part of the season is encouraging, the hardest part is still to come.

The Grenat will therefore play this time against FC Luzern Frauen at the Sportanlage Hubelmatt. The last meeting between the two teams took place near Fontnette. Geneva and Lucerne had shared the stakes. Servette took the lead until conceding a penalty in the last quarter of an hour of the match, allowing Lucerne to leave with a point.

The Garnets therefore travel for the last time in 2023 before hosting FC Aarau Frauen on Saturday December 9 for the last match of the year. Between these two meetings, the international break will return for some of our Servettians.
