In a complicated match which looked like a trap, the Garnets provided the essentials and gleaned three important points against Rapperswil.

In this first match of 2024, the Servettians had a complicated start to the match before gradually putting their foot on the ball. Despite a few meager chances, the Garnets had to settle for a 0-0 at tea time. In the second half, Jose Barcala’s charges will put more foot on the ball to create better chances with a certain insistence.

An insistence which will end up paying off on the hour mark. Bourma overflowed the side and found Sandrine Mauron left alone in the area for the one and only goal of this very cold afternoon in Saint Gall. The essential is therefore acquired for Servette FCCF who come home with three points.

The Grenat’s next meeting will take place at the Stade de la Fontenette on Saturday February 17 at 3 p.m. for the quarter-finals of the Swiss Cup against FC Saint-Gall. First match of the year 2024 in Geneva for our Servettians who will try to reach the semi-final of this competition again!
