Meet Andrea Panizza, a distinguished Italian rower born on July 14, 1998, in Lecco, Italy. He represents the Fiamme Gialle rowing club and has achieved remarkable success on the international stage.

In 2018, Andrea secured gold in the quadruple sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv. His impressive performances continued with a bronze medal at the 2019 World Championships in Ottensheim and a silver at the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Andrea and his team clinched the silver medal in the men’s quadruple sculls, marking his first Olympic podium finish.

Andrea’s journey from a young enthusiast to an Olympic medalist exemplifies his dedication and passion for rowing.

Meet Luca Chiumento, a distinguished Italian rower born on November 19, 1997, in Padua, Italy. Representing the Fiamme Gialle rowing club, Luca has achieved remarkable success on the international stage.

In 2022, he secured gold in the quadruple sculls at the European Rowing Championships in Oberschleißheim. His impressive performances continued with a bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships in Račice and a silver at the 2023 World Championships in Belgrade.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Luca and his team clinched the silver medal in the men’s quadruple sculls, marking his first Olympic podium finish.

Beyond his athletic pursuits, Luca is dedicated to his studies in Civil Engineering at the University of Padua. He is also in a relationship with fellow rower Federica Cesarini, who won gold in lightweight double sculls at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Meet Gabriel Soares, the Italian-Brazilian rowing sensation who clinched a silver medal in the Men’s Lightweight Double Sculls at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Born on January 22, 1997, in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, Gabriel moved to Lake Como, Italy, at a young age. He began his rowing journey in 2010 and has since represented Italy in various boat classes. His notable achievements include gold medals in the Men’s Lightweight Quadruple Sculls at the 2019 and 2020 European Championships, and a gold in the Men’s Lightweight Single Sculls at the 2021 European Championship. Gabriel’s dedication and talent continue to inspire the rowing community worldwide.

Barnabé Delarze - Olympic rower currently part of the Alinghi Red Bull racing team

Barnabé Delarze is a former Olympic rower who competed in both the Rio and Tokyo Games. After an impressive rowing career, he transitioned to sailing, joining Alinghi Red Bull Racing as part of their Power Group. Notably, Barnabé also won the prestigious Oxford vs. Cambridge Boat Race before stepping into the world of professional sailing.

We had the incredible honor to be part of the 2024 Mirabaud Basel Head race. Martino Goretti, formed a very strong team of incredible athletes, many of which won medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics rowing discipline, to row under the Super Sport - Archinisis Team.

The first athlete we would like to present is Finn Florijn - 2024 Paris Olympics Gold Medalist

Finn Florijn began rowing in 2015 with Die Leythe before later joining A.S.R. Nereus. His parents, Ronald Florijn and Antje Rehaag, as well as his sister Karolien Florijn, have also achieved international success in rowing

The 1.99-meter-tall Finn Florijn achieved sixth place with the Dutch eight at the 2018 U23 World Championships and won a bronze medal in the same event at the 2019 U23 World Championships. At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, he competed in the single sculls.

In 2022, Florijn competed in the quadruple sculls alongside Jan van der Bij, Simon van Dorp, and Stef Broenink, finishing eighth at the European Championships in Munich. A month later, at the World Championships in Račice u Štětí, the same crew competed, but Florijn transitioned from bowman to stroke. This change helped the Dutch team finish fourth, just one second behind the Italian bronze medalists.

At the 2023 European Championships in Bled, Finn Florijn, Simon van Dorp, Tone Wieten, and Koen Metsemakers took silver in the quadruple sculls, finishing behind the Polish team, with Italy taking bronze. Three months later, at the World Championships in Belgrade, Lennart van Lierop, Finn Florijn, Tone Wieten, and Koen Metsemakers won gold, defeating Italy and Poland. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, the same crew repeated their victory, again finishing ahead of Italy and Poland.
