Last year’s European champion in the 68 kg category, Irina Ringaci from Moldova, this year won silver at the final of the European Wrestling Championships in Zagreb, Croatia in the 65 kg category.

Irina Ringachi scored three victories in her category – against Elise Manolova, who competes for Azerbaijan, against the Ukrainian Tatiana Ryzhko and against the French Daher. In the final in Zagreb, she lost to Mimi Hristova of Bulgaria and won the silver medal.
