Anastasia Nikita won the gold medal at the European Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, which took place from 17th to 23rd April this year.

Moldovan athlete Anastasia Nikita became a three-time European champion in wrestling. She won three victories in the category up to 59 kilograms over competitors from Norway, Turkey and Ukraine.

In the final, Anastasia Nikita’s opponent was supposed to be the Ukrainian Yulia Tkach, who withdrew due to an injury and the meeting did not take place.
