With a great final sprint, Emil Neikov won a bronze medal in the skiff (2000 meters) at the World Rowing Championships (U23) for men and women under 23 in Plovdiv. Emil Neikov recorded a time of 06:55.60.

The son of the Olympic champion from Beijing 2008 Rumyana Neikova gave away in the final 500 meters and managed to fight for the third position in the final standings.

This is Emil Nejkov’s third U23 world championship medal after the gold medal at the 2021 Ráčice (Czech Republic) planet championship and bronze at the Varese (It) championship last year.
