Four Bulgarian women qualified for the semi-finals of the European Wrestling Championship, which is being held in Zagreb, Croatia.

Evelina Nikolova, Bilyana Dudova, Mimi Hristova and Yuliana Yaneva qualified for the semi-finals.

In the category up to 57 kilograms, Olympic bronze medalist Evelina Nikolova achieved an express victory with 10:0 over Cecilia Hulten from Sweden.

The four-time European champion Bilyana Dudova also qualified for the semi-final in the category up to 62 kilograms, who beat Magdalena Glodek from Poland 10:0.

In the category up to 65 kilograms is also the European champion from 2020, Mimi Hristova, who defeated Byusra Efe from Turkey with 10:0.

In the semi-final in the category up to 68 kilograms, the silver and bronze medalist in the category up to 72 kilograms from the European championships in 2021 and 2022, Yuliana Yaneva, qualified.
