They did it! Servette wins 3-2 in a crazy match against YB and conquers the second Swiss Cup in its history!

Back at Letzigrund, a year after winning their first Swiss Cup, the Garnets were determined to keep their trophy. Nothing was easy in a meeting as indecisive as the weather of the day where hail, rain, cold and heat punctuated the afternoon.

In good spirits, the Servettians ideally launched the hostilities by opening the score through Paula Serrano after only three minutes of play. No time to celebrate as Luyet got the score back 3 minutes later for his team. The Garnets will then regain the advantage through Therese Simonsson. After good pressing from her compatriot Cassandra Korhonen, Simonsson put Servette back on track. YB will come back to score again thanks to Naomi Luyet a few minutes before tea.

Picked up by the end of the first period, YB found the bar before the hour mark. Fear in the Geneva area. The Servettians will then regain possession of the leather without being able to make the difference. And since difference rhymes with deliverance, the latter will come from the feet of Rimante Jonusaite, who returned a few moments earlier. Servette will then do the back until the final whistle.

Servette therefore retains its Swiss Cup by performing the “Back to back”!
